/I just saw the new David Cronenberg film Eastern Promises and it's good.
I live in a Russian Mafia neighborhood in San Francisco so it felt like home.
The Bathhouse fight is great. Two hefty wrestler types wearing full body leather armor and carrying carpet knives take on a naked man on hot slippery ceramic tile. The choreography is based on Mixed Martial Arts moves.
He gets cut right away and yet fights on, no defensive maneuvers here.
