Introduction  to Taijiquan for personal healing.

This class for beginners will address how to heal personal joint injuries using both solo and two person exercises.  We will not learn a form, instead we will learn a preliminary Chen Style Taijiquan practice of 36 movements called chansijin (silk spinning power) in which we systematically utilize soft, continuous movement to encourage the revitalization of internal organs, to inspire balanced dynamic change, and to gently unravel old injuries.  This simple daily practice of releasing and spiraling all of our joints will improve circulation and will begin to align our bodies so that all spirals manifest through the center. Taijiquan & qigong practitioners of all styles and levels are welcome to join us.
